We are excited to welcome a diverse array of talented artists from around the globe to our growing group of Rebelle ambassadors. Specializing in illustration, fine art, graphic design, concept, or game art, each one brings unique styles and techniques.

Carla Post

Carla Post has been passionate about drawing from an early age, with a particular fascination for faces. Her preferred medium has always been pastels, especially for portrait work. Carla also enjoys photography, with a special focus on animals and nature. As she delved deeper into the world of digital art, she began drawing digitally and eventually found her way to using Rebelle.

 

 

Chris Lawton

Chris Lawton is an artist from Scotland, who engaged in a fledgling career as a freelance 3d generalist and animator working mainly in corporate and advertising. In 2011 this career was interrupted by illness. As part of his recovery, he took to painting using various software from his previous career, until Rebelle outshone everything else on the market. Now he uses it almost exclusively for his paintings, with the occasional use of 3d sculpting and modeling tools. 

 

 

Craig Werkheiser

Craig Werkheiser is an illustrator, creating figurative, portrait, and wildlife art, blending traditional and contemporary styles using digital tools like Rebelle. His career highlights include designing for Wiz Kidz Cheesesteaks, winning the ArtPop Billboard Competition, and first place in The Morning Call’s Masterpiece Series. Craig’s current focus is on commissioned wedding portraits and live digital painting at events.

 

David DeFigueredo

David's artistic journey began with traditional mediums, but he quickly embraced digital art, allowing him to explore new creative horizons. Over the years, he has had the pleasure of working on a diverse range of projects, including CD covers, book covers, and horror trading cards. David's work is a unique blend of pulp, surrealism, and horror, reflecting his fascination with the darker and more mysterious aspects of life.

 

Douglas Murakami

Douglas Murakami is a freelancer digital artist specializing in captivating environments and imaginative creatures. With a commitment to continuous improvement, Douglas engages in daily studies to refine and develop his unique painting style. Initially gaining recognition on Instagram, he has since expanded his presence to YouTube, where he shares detailed process videos and tutorials, offering insights into his creative techniques and journey.

Elena Arboleda Salas

Elena Arboleda Salas is a self-taught digital artist with a passion for portraiture. Over the years, she has honed her craft using digital painting tools including Rebelle, experimenting with various techniques including watercolors, oils, and acrylics. Her recent work focuses on capturing everyday emotions—fear, joy, anger, astonishment—through expressive gestures. Elena combines colored pencils with Gesso paper to highlight the depth and texture of her portraits, bringing her vision to life in each piece. 

 
 
 

Gloria Vanessa Nicoli

Gloria Vanessa Nicoli is an artist inspired by the magic of everyday moments. Her journey began in Italy and continued in Shanghai, blending diverse cultures into her life and art. During studies at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Gloria fell in love with printmaking. Today, she focuses on watercolor paintings, capturing the essence of food, animals, and flowers.

 

Han Sang-Sun

Han’s passion for drawing began in childhood, driven by an early fascination with art materials. Despite a humorous attempt to turn crayons into watercolor paints, his determination never wavered. After majoring in fine painting in college, Han spent five years as an artist before transitioning to a 20-year career in VFX for film and advertising. Today, he has returned to the roots, exploring a variety of mediums, including digital painting with Rebelle.

 

Ludovico Clovis

Ludovico Clovis is a digital and traditional figure painter. His style is influenced by the visible brushwork and color usage of the impressionist painters mixed with different abstract techniques. When he isn’t working digitally he is using oils, acrylics, watercolor, and charcoal. He prioritizes a balance of skill and freedom in his work, usually referring to it as beauty and chaos. 

 

Moonpix

Luna Garrone and Stefano Pistonatto, also known as Moonpix, are a couple of freelance artists based in Turin, Italy. They work as illustrators and character designers, collaborating on projects at every step to infuse each artwork with a bit of themselves. Working together is something they knew would be challenging and not easily understood by others. However, they are glad to embark on this journey together every day, excited to see where their creativity will take them.

 

 

Odessa Sawyer

Odessa Sawyer is an illustrator and doll maker from Santa Fe, USA. She has a background in young adult and middle-grade books, as well as licensing, album art, and film posters. Past clients include: Random House, Simon & Schuster, Capstone, Scholastic, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, HBO, Coty Inc., Faceout Studio, McGraw Hill, Pearson Education, St. Mary's Press, Farrar Straus and Giroux, Macmillan Publishers, and Original Poster Company. When not illustrating, she's probably roller skating.

Sandeep Karunakaran

Sandeep Karunakaran (Sanskarans) is a passionate artist from India specializing in horror, science fiction, and fantasy. From a young age, he was captivated by the eerie and the futuristic, drawing inspiration from childhood dreams, classic paintings, and a love for storytelling. His unique style blends realism and surrealism, creating dark, atmospheric pieces that captivate and unsettle viewers.

Sarajean Chung

Sarajean Chung, known as TheOneWithBear, is a manhua (comic) artist working on her long-form series Sunshine Through the Willow Tree. Having a passion for both traditional and digital mediums, Sarajean enjoys experimenting with blending mediums in her work, finding a way to maintain the traditional look in her digitally done comic.

 

S.C. Watson

S.C. Watson (Shane) is a freelance illustrator who lives and works on Orcas Island, north of Seattle and east of Victoria, B.C. He has been illustrating for a variety of clients, including Mongoose Publishing, Wizards of the Coast, Fantasy Flight Games, and Malfador Machinations, and self-publishing authors for more than 20 years.

 

Sykine Ren

Sykine is a self-taught artist and an enthusiast of fan art. She considers art as a container of her thoughts and moods, and values composition a lot. Sykine works as a freelancer for now, and she worked with some video game companies like ZA/UM Netease and Hypergryph. During her exploration, she became more interested in traditional painting textures, which built her digital art style.

 

Taerang Yun

Taerang Yun is an animator and illustrator based in Seoul, South Korea. Specializing in 2D animation, Tearang has created several personal short films and worked on animated music videos. As an illustrator, Taerang primarily uses Rebelle, crafting album covers and artworks that blend vivid textures and colors. 

 

Thatch Durbin

A freelance artist and full-time engineer, Thatch found himself in the situation of needing to draw his primary income from technical fields. Not satisfied with the limits of such a career he sought out creative side jobs and opportunities to grow and learn as an artist. This slow approach afforded him the ability to explore multiple options including craftsman, graphic artist, technical illustrator, creative director, and making fine art. 

 

Vancantdraw

Van is a 22-year-old digital artist with a lifelong connection to drawing, which has evolved into a deep passion in recent years. His work draws heavily from traditional academic art across cultures, with a particular admiration for Eastern traditions. He incorporates classical drawing and painting techniques, giving each piece a unique and timeless quality. 

 

Zari Beltrán

Zarimoth is a mystical artist from the Canary Islands, Spain, who draws inspiration from her spiritual practice, weaving elements of magic, paganism, and mythology into her work. Her mystical illustrations blend traditional textures with digital mediums, a process she enjoys mastering using tools like Rebelle to achieve an authentic, hand-crafted aesthetic.
