We have teamed up with five artists who prepared spring-themed prompts in Rebelle for you to recreate in your style. Open any painting software and interpret at least one of the following prompts to get a chance to win creative prizes.

Spring Portrait by Dhabitah Punk
This prompt goes beyond the typical spring flower theme, as the artist wanted to focus on something different, but still connected to flowers. Dhabitah chose butterflies. To make the butterflies stand out, she decided to do line art drawings on top of the painting just to give a contrast between two different art styles. What will your take on this artwork be?

“Mech in Nature” by Kobe Sek Yong Kai
In the artist´s words: “In the land where I live, there are no seasons. The spring's arrival after winter's departure, as I imagine it, is like when traditional craftsmanship meets new technology, when machinery encounters nature. It's not about replacement, but about coexistence in a different way, creating more possibilities and vitality for the future.”

Nymph by Senora Garabato
"Thinking about spring conjures up an army of tiny nymphs making their way through the remnants of winter—melting ice, thawing branches, and twirling through the frost—transforming metallic wisps of gold and silver into tiny buds and twigs bursting with life." As someone who works in the animation industry, capturing movement to tell a story was very important for Senora Garabato when preparing this prompt.

Escape Motions will choose from all entries three winners who will receive the following:

Prompt Prizes
Each of the five prompt-creating artists will choose one winner following their prompt, who will receive Rebelle 8 Pro painting software from Escape Motions upon its release (planned for Q3 2025).
How To Join This Challenge
Choose one of the prompts above and draw them in your style. If you wish, you can draw multiple or all prompts and enter the challenge with multiple entries. Below are the general rules you should follow. Only entries posted on Instagram with proper tagging will be considered for winning in this challenge. However, we encourage you to share your art in our Community Gallery and other social media as well.
General Rules of the Challenge
- Post your DTIYS (Draw This In Your Style) artwork on Instagram while using these hashtags: #dtiys #escapemotions
- Include the prompt artwork in the post in the second position and tag the original artist and @escapemotions
- Follow the Instagram account of the original prompt artist and @escapemotions
- It is not necessary to use Rebelle software. We accept entries finished in any digital painting software. If you decide to use Rebelle, you can use the Free Trial or the Full version.
- The use of AI art generation is not allowed in any way. Please keep in mind, we may request process images or time-lapse recordings of the painting process when evaluating your artwork.
- Entries are accepted by April 30, 2025, 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Winners will be announced by May 20, 2025, via Escape Motions blog and social media.
