So far I haven't seen any software to mimic coloured pencils really well. Not how they layer, blend and do gradations. I'd love to see coloured pencils as an addition to Rebelle.

It is not easy to correctly digitally interpret any drawing tools, there are so many manufacturers and we have tofind our which is the best behaviour? Btw. pencils in Rebelle are not good enough?

Graphite pencils and colored pencils are a totally different media, so no the pencil doesn't work good enough. In Rebelle I do find that the wet media are excellent, but the dry media, like pencil and pastel aren't as good. With watercolor and ink I really get the feeling I'm working with them, but the pencils don't feel like working with pencils. When I need charcoal or graphite I always go back to Autodesk Sketchbook.

Colored pencils, I would say only 2 brands are really the most interesting to have for me, Caran D'ache Luminance and Faber Castel Polychromos.

I'm now experimenting with the Pastel Tri Medium brush, setting the pressure quite low to around 30. This seems to look promising, will let you know my final thoughts on it when done.

I tried Rebelle pencil drawing, but it's not really good as MyPaint one. Especially feather-light touch.
Does anyone have good Rebelle pencil settings simulated like real one?
