I plan to get a workstation to primarily use for Rebelle and wanted input on what to get. Rebelle watercolors behave beautifully at 2k Is there a way I can get my 4k files to behave the same way by 1. increasing RAM? 2. better CPU 3. better graphics card? 4. any other way?

Hi SANJE, In my humble opinion you would benefit yourself to wait and get a complete new system. This way there is no weak/slow links. In other words look at it this way... If I had to move dirt 50 yards away with one man using a wheelbarrow and two people loading. Then adding two more men to load would benefit a little. Reason is I would still have to wait on the one man to walk the wheelbarrow 50 yards and back again. So dropping 200 to 300 dollars on a new video card for example may not give you the performance boost you were looking for. Not to mention that it might not be worth the additional investment. This money could be applied to a new system. Watch for year old systems after brand names come out with their latest editions. A year old edition may not be the latest out but it might be much better than you have now. With a year old configuration the savings could be well into the hundreds. Separately puchased items would also be more expensive than a complete unit. Hope this helps! Tom G.

as I understood reading the forum and answers from the rebelle team the number of core and thread is the most important for the CPU. Support talked about I7 type of processor and so probably R9 AMD . Ram is also one of the most important and a minimum 32 but I think this program should get around 64gb of ram For now the GPU is not used much but could be in the futur (so rebelle 8+) .
