If I use the keyboard shortcut R while I hold it, I can rotate the canvas by moving my pen.
I use a Wacom Cintiq 16, and by pressing a key on the pen another keypad appears on the
screen that has various keyboard shortcuts on it which I can modify.

I want to be able to use this keypad to rotate the canvas. The issue is that the rotation shortcut works only if I

hold down the shortcut key R and the keypad that I get via my Wacom pen performs only a one time press of R.

Thus as soon as I lift the pen from the keypad, R is not selected anymore.

Is there a keyboard shortcut that by pressing it once, the rotate tool is selected without the need to holding down that keyboard shortcut?

I have the same issue with the zooming in/out and panning.

Hi Reza,

For rotating only the selected layer you can activate the Transform tool (T) and rotate by the edit box by clicking and dragging the corners.

If you want to rotate the canvas, currently there is not a shortcut for activating the rotation tool like you described.

You can manipulate the Rotation slider in the Navigator panel though.

Or hit the rotation buttons next to that slider - the canvas will be rotated by 10 degrees.
