Import Image/Import Asset always rotating artwork 90 degrees

It ends up cutting off my photo and Id like it to retain orientation information instead of rotating and cropping it. Source image is the right orientation, canvas is set to be that orientation, sizing matches, and Rebelle (when choosing Import Image or Import Asset) will always rotate it and crop off the edges. I just want to import an image and draw over it, should be pretty easy no? lol Checked the forums and not much comes up

Hi SomiethaHomie, It seems Rebelle is unable to detect some information in photographs made with cameras (they write coded information about the orientation of the image). You can try rotating the image clockwise and saving it in the default image viewer on your OS. After you hit 'Save', there and then opened the image in Rebelle, the image should be rotated correctly. Hope this helps!
